I hope you don’t take this lightly… this scone with honey butter changed my LIFE! I still am riding that high. The hash browns with SOS (like a peppery hamburger gravy) are so yummy if you like pepper. The bacon is the perfect balance of crispy and soft. Our waitress was so kind and very attentive even though the restaurant was busy. Idk man… Sills getting it done! 😮💨

I first became a regular customer in 1979, when it located on Main Street. Now 40+ years later I ate there once again. Received great service, the food is fantastic.
Be far warned that portions are huge. Be sure and consider having a scone, also known as Fry Bread, you can ask for it either way.
It was nearly empty when I went there in mid afternoon, however I was told there are usually more people, just depends on the time and day of the week or year, and how the weather is for that day🌡️☁️ ⛈️🛤️🌞☀️
You will enjoy yourself when you grab a bite to eat weather for a small or a large party!!!🎉🎂❤️

Best mom and pop in Utah.
I came here as a kid. I returned to the state a few years ago and things were ok, but standard diner feelings.
I came back this weekend for Fathers Day and was blown away. The food is great quality, the scones are as great as I remember, and the service was spot on. Well done to the whole team for raising the diner experience-you all nailed it.

You know you've found the best food around when every seat is taken at 10am on a Friday morning. Best s.o.s. I've had in the valley. I never had to ask for anything; service was on point. Atmosphere... well it's the family Thanksgiving party. A bit of loud chaos full of laughter and good food. I enjoyed my time.

Amazing scones and rolls. We had the 8 Oz Sirloin Steak and salad with blue cheese dressing.

To be local and not have heard of sills, you must live under a rock. At least that's how i felt. Famous, and so fricken good! love the little diner, the vibe, the food, and the PRICE. You can get a GOOD, LARGE Breakfast, and not even break $15 per person. Even have leftovers! Is it some gordon ramseys? Of course not, but for what it is, no complaints!

So good the sos sauce is the best. Scones and cinnamon rolls can’t be beat. You feel like you are cared about while you eat breakfast. Been going here for 25 years and still dream about it when I am traveling through Layton.

I happened to find this place on a roadtrip a few years ago. The food was amazing and great service. I found myself about 4 hours away recently and decided I had to go back. It added a lot of driving to my trip, but well worth it! There aren't many places with food and service so good I will actually drive more than four hours extra just to get to. The food was just as good as I remembered. The hot beef sandwich was excellent. I took fritters and scones home to share with my husband. He now understands why I drove so far. Will be back again!

I checked out Sill's on a whim and am so glad I did! Even though it was super busy the staff seated us within minutes.
The food was absolutely delicious! They warned us about the spice level of the food we ordered as a heads up wich was a nice touch. And of course the scones...the scones are to die for! I will definitely be coming back here soon.

Friendly and Fast service. Food was great -- especially the Scone with Honey Butter! 😋
Portions were decent size; prices were fair.
No wonder this place is ranked #1 in Layton according to Trip Advisor travelers.
